Ellie & Andrew’s South Farm wedding was glorious. We met just a few months ago for their Hampstead Heath engagement shoot to get to know each other a little better, and I knew then just how special this day would be.
Ellie looking incredibly elegant in her Jenny Packham dress and Jimmy Choo’s, with a bouquet of peach roses. Andrew’s Dressed to Kill suit had a their initials and the date stitched into the lining, a sweet touch. They said ‘I do’ in the gardens at South Farm, which really came into their own in the sunlight. After the ceremony, summer cocktails were served to the guests in jam jars, which had been individually and lovingly prepared by the team. Decked in vibrant orange tulips, glowing in the beams of light streaming through doors and windows, the barn came to life for an alternative wedding breakfast: ‘Afternoon Tea’ – a veritable banquet of sandwiches and savories, and the most delicious looking scones.
Beautifully personal details, carefully chosen by Ellie & Andrew, were arranged and brought to life by Revival Rooms. They displayed fans of tulips, arranged the decadent sweetie table, and made sure all the details were just so, from room to room. Ellie and Andrew are both in publishing, so there were touches in the details as a nod to that – beautiful old books of poems, and their initials carved from old tomes.
To match the colour accents of the day, we were blessed with a sunset sky of peaches and amber, setting a backdrop to one amazing celebration.
