South Farm, Hertfordshire
Anneliese & Will dressed South Farm in soft powder pinks and blues bathed in the warm summer sunshine. Their outdoor ceremony was as you might dream for an English garden wedding. There was something of the fairytale as the two of them strolled down the cherry tree avenue, back lit by the golden light, and in the blues and purples of the evening, we explored the adjacent farmland, capturing the sense of place for their memories.
They really embraced South Farm – Anneliese is very fond of animals and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enter the yard with the piglets who took great interest in her veil. They also had an immaculate South Farm cake made, complete with facades of the gypsy caravans, cherry trees and two sugar cats to represent their own at home.
When I met Anneliese & Will for their Greenwich engagement shoot, I learnt that they had met first as children. When life had taken them in different directions, fate brought them both to the same city as adults, and they found each other once again. It is easy to believe in fate when you see two people so well matched.
