The beaded armadillo {Rupert & Ali}

Rupert & Ali’s wedding day begun with the brightest sunshine, that reached in to every corner and woke the colour hidden within. Their Goldbrick House wedding, on Bristol’s Park Street in the centre of the old town was embraced by their close friends and family and perfectly them.

I began the day with Ali at her parents home, from which we traveled to a friend’s house for make up and her favourite hair dressers for hair. It was one of the most relaxed mornings. Menawhile, preparations were busy at Goldbrick House, with beautiful jars of summer flowers and personal touches being added to the quirky elegant rooms.

Friends and family had traveled form far and wide to celebrate and there was such a feeling of joy and togehtherness, lit up by the sunshine. I first met Orla-Jo, Ali and Rupert’s beautiful little girl, on our rather special pre-wedding shoot. When she came to join the celebrations she was, quite rightly, the centre of everyone’s attention!

After their wedding breakfast and the heartfelt speeches had been spoken, Ali, Rupert, Jake and I walked over to Brandon Hill to catch the late afternoon sunlight streaming through the leaves. It was magical. Ali & Rupert, you are so kind and caring people who are so clearly made for each other. Thank you for having us be a part of your day.
