Candlelit Vows {Sandra & Richard}

Babington House is where Sandra goes to relax. So naturally she began her day in the Cow Shed, Babington’s own Spa, with a few friends. It is an incredibly relaxing space with beautiful natural details. Richard and the boys had a different way to relax, driving off in to the Somerset fields to shoot at a few clay pigeons, and I hear they had a bit of a competition going.

Sandra and Richard had chosen a palette of deep reds and greens for their florals, which were exquisitely put together by Jo and Ffion from Passion. Her bouquet came alive against her pale lavender Ritva Westenius gown, with the little glitter of diamonds around her neck.

It was the epitome of romance, an evening candlelit winter wedding. Every inch of the deep stone window ledges were laden with glowing candles. The sun set as Sandra walked over the lawn to the chapel to say her vows. Her son, Dylan, walked her up the aisle to where Richard was waiting. It was extremely beautiful.

The evening was full of laughter and fun, spurred on with secret singing waiters at the end of supper. They had been serving the guests all evening as part of the staff, and suddenly burst in to song – but these guys were incredible and the guests absolutely loved it. They were on the chairs, in the aisles singing and dancing.

Sandra and Richard are incredibly kind and caring people who deserve all the joy that can be found. I wish you both, Dylan and of course little Boris every happiness.

Sandra’s beautiful Ritva Westenius  gown was the palest silver lavender, paired with Jimmy Choo’s and a head piece from Flow & Ernest. Her hair was done by Shaun from The Courtyard Hairdressers in Bath. Amanda, the maid of honour, worn a fabulous feather jacket by Jenny Packham. Richard wore Hugo Boss. The beautiful stationary was by Emily and Jo, and the stunning deep red winter florals were by Passion. And those secret singing waiters (also the evening band) – Elegant Entertainment.
