Sunlight & Sixpence {Sami & Tammy}

Babington House, Somerset

This was a spectacular day. From the light to the laughter, everything was just as it should be. Sami and Tammy live in Abu Dhabi, and they were given the most beautiful English summer’s day for their celebrations.

They planned their wedding from abroad with Becky at Babington House, and chose to have Gemma from Sincerely Yours join them on the day to make sure everything went smoothly.

They were the picture of stylish, Tammy in her Frost dress, with it’s exquiste bead and sequin detail on sheer fabric of the sleeves, Sami in his Ermenegildo Zegna suit. Tammy wore wonderful Charlotte Mills shoes with the classic ‘something old’ rhyme debossed into the soles, and a sixpence inset into the sole. Flowers by Passion created a canvas of soft purples to complement the bridesmaid dresses, and accent the gorgeous deep teals and grey greens of the Babington House interior.

Tammy and Sami held their ceremony in the Orangery. With sunlight streaming through the tall windows it created a beautiful atmosphere. As they left the room, husband and wife, they were showered with petals by their overjoyed guests – the first confetti we have had inside and such fun!

The evening atmosphere was magical, with STYLISH Entertainment’s lanterns and festoon lights dancing in the branches of that great pine, and Nigel creating the backdrop of light and music for one of the very best parties we have seen.

Tammy and Sami, it was an absolute joy to document your celebrations. You have the kindest of hearts and you are so loved by your family and friends. Thank you for sharing this time with us.
