2015 review & my couples thoughts {part 1}

2015 was one of those years that won’t fade. It was a year full of experience, hard work and joy. Jake and I welcomed our daughter into the world at the start of the year, and I had my most full work calendar to date, documenting personal, beautiful celebrations and producing stunning fine art albums and print boxes for my wonderful couples. I really do feel incredibly lucky to be chosen by those that I work with. The moments that I have captured for them become memories I have witnessed and shared. They are, each one, very special. These people make my life richer.

This year, I am sharing my favourite images from the year with the comments my couples made for my entry into the 2016 Wedding Industry Awards, for which I made the regional finals. In this and a second companion post, I share comments from every single one of my couples. I was, needless to say, blown away with the sentiments they shared. I am very proud, and very grateful to have been a part of their stories.

“As the groom I was very apprehensive about the whole photo experience, however we met Ria and her husband in Cambridge and spent a very pleasant afternoon doing an engagement photo shoot and getting to know each other. On the day she was the same and while we did the traditional shots the natural shots of us and our guests were our favourites.”
