For the third year running, I had the privilege of working with Jo Barnes Vintage, creating a collection of images to show off her latest exquisite collection of vintage hairpieces and jewelry.
In a garden in Hampshire on a summer afternoon, we captured her Pearl Collection. Jo has again created a unique collection of handmade art deco inspired pieces, this time featuring Swarovski pearls and crystals. She hopes, in her own words, that the ‘fabulous range of romantic pieces which are dramatic will add a real statement to your chosen ensemble whilst also oozing elegance. These pieces are beautifully designed, so suitable for the modern bride whilst also fitting for her beloved vintage brides’.
In the late afternoon light, the pearls and crystals glowed and glittered as in a fairytale. The heirloom pieces worked beautifully with the dresses supplied by Exquisite Bridal. The style was set with the lovely Vicky Draper, a makeup artist I have worked with many times at weddings at Babington House, where we are both recommended. The gorgeous locks were styled by Tori of Riot Hairdressing.
