Vivian and Philip had spent the morning at Sezincote House, meeting with their wedding suppliers, planning their day, and after a brief revitalising tea, they took me back there to show of the beauty of the surroundings. The Sezincote Estate is quite breathtaking, with its Neo-Mughal architecture and expansive manicured gardens. It was designed by Samuel Pepys Cockerell in 1805, and being there has all the sense of stepping back into a different time.
With all the weather we have had of late, the day was very kind to us. Late afternoon sun shone through the pines as we picked our way amongst the waterfalls of the lower gardens. I really enjoyed spending time with Vivian and Philip….they have a great sense of fun and interest in everything around them. They have a wonderful, real, bond between them, that made me feel very safe. Vivian shares my appreciation for the importance of how things feel, and we spend some good time just talking about paper, which made me happy indeed.
I am very much looking forward to seeing those grounds filled with their love ones in celebration of their union later this year.
