Portobello {Layla & Shaun}

There are some people that you meet and who make you feel good about the world. Layla & Shaun are these. They are warm, giving and great fun to be around. I am a little in love. I met them in Portobello for a spot of lunch and a walk around their old haunts from when they lived in these parts. We visited the restaurant where they had their first date, walked through the markets they would browse together…the gorgeous orange glow of the late afternoon sun casting highlights, lighting up the bright tarpaulin against the steely grey paths of wet stone and concrete. Relaxed and full of stories, Layla and Shaun talked of their families, what they love and their plans for their Babington House wedding this Spring. I am feeling very lucky to be documenting their day.
