This wedding was something a little different and special for me. A real London wedding, really personal and very beautiful.
Abi and Tom chose The Royal Institution of Great Britain for their ceremony: a stunning Grade I heritage building with stunning and graceful Georgian architecture, right in the heart of London, and home to some for the very greatest scientific discoveries of the last 200 years. Their ceremony was held in the library, and there was something a little magical about being surrounded by the books, the knowledge, and for me with my background in science, it really was a special environment. The room itself was flooded with sunlight, and the incredible rainbow floral displays created by Augustus Bloom positively glowed.
Following the touching ceremony, Abi and Tom led their guests around to the adjoining Georgian Room and the Ante Room for champagne serenaded by strings. A short drive across town, the party moved to the Almeida Restaurant for a delicious wedding breakfast and dancing into the dark.
